"Dressing the man"

If you want to know something about style and clothing(for men), in a traditional manner, I can surely recomend "Dressing the man" by Alan Flusser. The book describes in detail, how to dress properly, however, it does so in a much better way than many of the other style guides out there. The book is not just about what Flusser believes is right and wrong, he argues about what is practically and historically reasonable. And, of course, no style advice should ever be more important than one own, personal taste.

The book is for sale on Amazon.com and in Denmark, you can also find it on bibliotek.dk.

If Flusser is a little too much, the free, online magazine The Morning News has a four-part series of articles called ”Men’s Fashion”. Find them on www.themorningnews.org.

If everything else fails, Esquire has a comprehensive database on their website, www.esquire.com, called ”Things a man should know...”.
